MountCrest University College (MCU) has a new Students’ Representative Council (SRC). The members were sworn into office on Friday, 10th May, 2024 by the chief justice of the SRC Judicial Council, Baba Ashai, at the Coconut Grove Regency Hotel in Accra.
This followed elections using MountCrest’s e-Voting system conducted in one polling station for 407 eligible voters. The results were declared on April 12, 2024, by Ms. Ama Emefa Xatse Agyeman, Chairperson of MCU’s Electoral Commission and Returning Officer of the SRC general elections 2024.
The new officers are T.K. Dzidula-Awudi, President; Odamea Amma Amoako, Vice- President; Derrick Aniglo Blessing, General Secretary; Catherine Kwame, Financial Secretary; Hasuglo Ruffy Lior, Women’s Commissioner and Naiza Issifu, NUGS President.
The swearing-in was at the annual MCU Students’ Representative Council Dinner which brings together students, alumni, faculty and management staff to strengthen connections and build relationships within the MountCrest community.

Ansa-Asare, the Rector.
