Esther Adjovi Agbeko

Deputy Registrar, Human Resource
Mrs. Agbeko is Deputy Registrar, School of Medicine and Health Sciences and Manager, Human Resource. She has over 26 years’ experience in strategic human resource and general administration.

Experience & Activities

She holds a Masters’ degree in Alternative Dispute Resolution from the University of Ghana, Legon; a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Human Resource Management from University of Cape Coast; a Certificate in Job Analysis and Job Evaluation and Grading from George Washington University, USA; a Certificate in Administration and Management from Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration; a Certificate in Advertising, Marketing and Public Relations from Ghana Institute of Journalism and a Diploma in Business Studies from Ho Polytechnic.

 

Before joining MountCrest, she was from 2016-2017, Acting Chief Executive Officer, Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC), Office of the President; Head of Human Resource, MASLOC; General Manager (HR/Business Development), Express Funds International Money Transfer; Executive Secretary, Morgan Group of Companies and Human Resource Manager/Head of Consultancy, Readwide Limited.

Also she was Personal Assistant to the Managing Director, Tractor & Equipment Ghana Limited; Executive Secretary, African Mining Services (Tarkwa); other experiences working with the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority and the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

 

Esther is a member of the Institute of Human Resource Management Practitioners, Ghana; Institute of Strategic Management, Nigeria (Ghana Chapter) and Administrative Professionals Association of Ghana (APAG).

Among her awards are Best Overall Worker at Ghana Civil Aviation Authority and Overall Best Management Staff at Express Finance International.

 

She enjoys travelling, listening to socio-political and intellectual discourse, reading and cooking.
