The Law Students Union of MountCrest University College has paid a familiarisation visit to the Law Court Complex in Accra.
The visit, which was on Thursday, 9th July 2024, by 43 students, was for them to observe how the High Courts operate, especially in criminal jurisdictions. Put into groups, they were able to visit different courtrooms to observe court proceedings first-hand and gain insight into the judicial system.
It also allowed them to connect their classroom lessons to real-world legal practices. They also had the chance to interact with the Judges whose courtrooms they visited.
